ENGLISH OPEN COURSE
Aim
Provide people the opportunity to learn English through the development of communicative and recreational activities that focus on the four linguistic skills in meaningful contexts that respond to their needs and interests.
Age
Students from 15 years of age and up.
Levels
The levels follow the Common European Framework of Reference for languages.
A1 Beginner
A2 Elementary
B1 Pre-intermediate
B1+ Intermediate
B2 Upper Intermediate
B2+ Upper Intermediate II
C1- Advanced
C1 Advanced Expertise
Duration
The course takes a total of eight semesters. Once students successfully complete the level C1-Advanced 1, they can take an international exam to obtain a Certificate of Proficiency. Likewise, once students successfully complete the level C1+ Expertise, they can take an international exam to obtain an Expertise Certificate.
Day schedule
Classes take place on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Hourly schedule
The schedules are the following: 07:00 - 09:00, 15:00 - 17:00, 17:00 - 19:00. The schedules will be vary according to demand, following the academic calendar of the Technical University of Ambato.
Investment
The investment is $295.00. The cost of the text is not considered in this category.
Note: The cost will vary according to the current fees of the Technical University of Ambato in each academic period.

- Being the age corresponding to the program.
